The start of the match was delayed for a day as the Windward Islands gear had not arrived
Chanderpaul was not out overnight but was not at the ground the following day as he had left the country to attend a West Indies Players Association function in Trinidad. He returned to field after lunch on Day 3, Guyana being forced to field with 10 men.
